Occupational Health Program

Welcome to the Occupational Health Program.  The Occupational Health Program (OHP) serves personnel at the UTK, UTIA, and UTCVM campuses who work with live animals or animal tissues/specimens.  Institutional and federal guidelines mandate that all staff working with live animals or animal tissues/specimens complete an annual OHP enrollment.  Additionally, to be listed on an IACUC protocol current OHP enrollment is required.  You may click on the OHP annual enrollment link supplied at the bottom of this page.

Once you have enrolled in the OHP, if you have a change in your personal health history, or a change in your occupational exposure risks, please complete a new OHP enrollment, being sure to note your changes in the space provided.

Once the OHP annual enrollment form is completed, the results will be sent to the OHP Nurse, who will in turn provide you with information and guidance related specifically to your health and workplace risk assessment.  From this point forward, you will receive notification on an annual basis to complete your OHP enrollment.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out to the OHP Nurse, Bryan Cranmore RN, COHN via email (bcranmor@utk.edu) or phone (865-755-8924).
